Madison founded Cobalt Fund Services after seeing a need for quality fund administration within the alternative investments industry.  With over 20 years of experience in the Venture Capital and Private Equity industries, he brings extensive knowledge ranging from complex international structures to single entity structures recently formed.  Understanding the value of sophisticated technology and proven leadership of teams within the industry, Madison formed a company focused on these strategic initiatives, which in return will deliver top-notch service to the investment managers and the fund’s investors that Cobalt services.

Prior to founding Cobalt, Madison was a Director at Strait Capital within the Private Equity division overseeing a variety of fund clients ranging from real estate to oil and gas.  Prior to joining Strait Capital, Madison was a Principal at MUFG Investor Services (fka Capital Analytics) where he led the Real Estate Fund Administration team and was the real estate subject matter expert for the US group.  Madison began his career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he provided audit and assurance services for venture capital and publicly traded technology services clients.

Madison holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Accounting, both from Baylor University.  Madison is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  Madison lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Lauren, and their three young children.

Cody is a Managing Director who joined Cobalt Fund Services in September of 2023. He is responsible for all marketing and business development operations of the firm. Prior to joining Cobalt, Cody worked at TritonLake, a global placement agent focused on raising capital for alternative asset managers and private deals. Before that, he was the head of marketing, business development, and internal operations at Blue River Partners, where he spearheaded the growth of employees and revenue. Cody began his career as an analyst, where he was responsible for portfolio construction and management of over $600 million in assets.

Cody holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Master of Business Administration in Alternative Assets and Investments from Southern Methodist University. He is an Energy Risk Professional through the Global Association of Risk Professionals. Cody, his wife, and their two kids reside in Dallas, Texas.

Chandler is a Director who joined Cobalt Fund Services in December of 2019.  She is responsible for overseeing all financial and investor-level reporting, as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the team.  Prior to joining Cobalt, Chandler worked as a financial advisor focused on high-net-worth individuals and started her career as a tax professional at Ernst & Young.  Her primary emphasis was on the real estate industry and partnership structures.

Chandler holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Master of Accountancy degree, both from Texas A&M University.  She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.  Chandler, her husband, and their two sons reside in Round Rock, Texas.

Grant is a Fund Controller who joined Cobalt Fund Services in July of 2023.  He is responsible for overseeing the fund administration of various Cobalt engagements that span an array of industries.  Prior to joining Cobalt, Grant worked at Apex Fund Services, where he worked with evergreen and complex fund structures that primarily focused on middle-market buyouts in the energy and technology sectors.

Grant holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree from The University of Arkansas.  He received a Master of Accountancy degree from The University of Oklahoma.  Grant, his wife, and their three daughters reside in McKinney, Texas.

Justin is a Senior Fund Controller who joined Cobalt Fund Services in June of 2024. He is responsible for overseeing the fund administration for various Cobalt engagements covering a wide spectrum of industries. Prior to joining Cobalt, Justin worked at Gen II Fund Services and Standish Management, where his industry focus was in real estate funds and venture capital funds.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas Tech University. Justin, his wife, and daughter reside in Little Elm, Texas.

Alec is a Fund Controller who joined Cobalt Fund Services in June of 2023.  He is responsible for overseeing the fund administration for various Cobalt engagements covering a wide spectrum of industries.  Prior to joining Cobalt, Alec worked at Apex Fund Services and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where his industry focus was in the energy industry as well as midsized buyout funds.  

Alec holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University.  Alec, his wife, and their daughters reside in Plano, Texas.

Andrew is a Fund Controller who joined Cobalt Fund Services in September of 2022.  He is responsible for preparing and reviewing the fund administration for various Cobalt engagements spanning multiple industries. Prior to joining Cobalt, Andrew worked at Apex Fund Services, where his industry focus was in the oil and gas industry.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and Master of Accountancy degree, both from Baylor University.  He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.  Andrew and his wife reside in Euless, Texas.

Scout is an Assistant Fund Controller who joined Cobalt in November of 2023. She is responsible for preparing and reviewing various engagements across several industries. Prior to joining Cobalt, Scout worked for a regional public accounting firm as an auditor, where she also worked on engagements across many industries. 

Scout holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from The University of Alabama. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Scout and her fiancé reside in Dallas, Texas.

Rasha joined Cobalt Fund Services in July 2026 as a Fund Controller.  She is responsible for overseeing the fund administration of a diverse portfolio of Cobalt engagements spanning a wide range of industries.  She brings extensive experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, and the management of complex investment structures. 

Prior to joining Cobalt, Rasha held positions at Citco Fund Services, TPG Global, and LS Power Development. Over the course of her 10-year career, she worked extensively with complex fund structures, primarily focused on Real Estate investments, developing deep expertise in fund operations, investor reporting, and financial oversight.

Rasha holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from The University of Alexandria.  Rasha resides in Grapevine, Texas, with her husband and children.
